Training

At LifeSpan Health, our commitment to training and development ensures that our team remains equipped to meet the evolving needs of our clients. In addition to internal staff training, we offer tailored training packages to external organisations, supporting broader workforce capability in delivering informed, high-quality mental health care.

Building Experience Across Mental Health Fields Through Training

Lifespan Health is committed to the continuous growth and development of our team. We recognise the increasing demand for skilled mental health professionals, particularly in areas such as geriatric psychology. Our training programs are designed to equip practitioners with the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to address the unique challenges faced by diverse populations.

Psychology Training

Given the growing need for treating individuals in older age, Lifespan Health offers training in this critical growing field. Our training is designed to help practitioners to develop skills specific to aging through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practice experience. We aim to prepare clinicians to address the specific challenges faced by the aging population.

Comprehensive Psychology Assessment (CPA) Training

Our CPA training program is designed to help practitioners enhance their skills in conducting comprehensive assessments for individuals across all age groups. This training covers a wide range of mental health and neurodevelopmental conditions, such as ADHD and autism. By providing in-depth knowledge and practical training in conducting CPAs, we help clinicians develop the confidence to deliver accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs.

Aged Care Provider Training

Lifespan Health also offers targeted aged care training to support professionals working in aged care settings. Our training focuses on the unique mental health needs of older adults, including how to recognise and address issues like cognitive decline, emotional distress and behavioural challenges. This training provides aged care workers with skills and knowledge necessary to deliver compassionate, person-centred care to older individuals. By equipping staff with the tools to manage mental health concerns effectively, we help improve the quality of life for individuals and their families.
